Join us for the 5th Annual Strongman Luca James Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, a day dedicated to bringing the community together in support of children and families facing childhood cancer.
Held at Burning Ridge Golf Club, this annual tournament combines friendly competition with a meaningful mission. Proceeds from the event help provide direct support to local families navigating treatment — including assistance with travel, lodging, meals, and other essential needs during an incredibly difficult time.
Created in honor of Luca James Holmes, a childhood cancer survivor, the foundation exists to remind families that they are not alone and that their community is standing behind them.

Golfing is not required to support the event — volunteers, sponsors, and supporters are encouraged to participate in any way they can.

Families facing childhood cancer often experience unexpected financial strain on top of emotional stress. The Strongman Luca James Foundation works to ease that burden by providing immediate, practical support when it’s needed most.
The golf tournament is one of the foundation’s largest annual fundraisers and plays a critical role in helping us continue this mission.

Tickets are $26 per child and include an adult to accompany them. Please purchase tickets for each child 3 (three) years and older.

We strongly encourage you to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to cancer patients and their siblings at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital from our area (Horry and Georgetown counties)

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re proud to continue our mission of wrapping children diagnosed with cancer and their families in Horry and Georgetown counties with love and financial support as they face the unimaginable.
